Diagnostic Radiography designates the aspect of using X–ray radiation in medical imaging to produce diagnostic medical images. The radiographer or Radiologic Technologist (RT) is responsible for acquiring the medical images and determines the diagnostic quality of the images. There are some radiological procedures that are performed by Radiologists who are Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic medicine (DO). The Radiologists are responsible for interpreting the images and reporting the findings to the referring doctor.
