Clinical Services include:
- Evaluations through referrals from primary care physicians and in-patient consultations
- Cardiac imaging: echocardiograms; transesophageal echocardiograms; cardiac magnetic resonance (MR) imaging; positron emission tomography (PET scans).
Soon patients will be able to get electron beam (CT scans) at a site in Southfield, MI.
- Comprehensive stress testing: treadmill testing; adenosine and dobutamine stress tests; sestamibi cardiac scans; stress and dobutamine echocardiograms.
- Diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization including elective and emergency angioplasty, intravascular ultrasound, and experimental techniques for acute heart attacks.
- Inpatient care for all forms of heart disease including congestive heart failure, angina and heart attacks.
- Inpatient rehabilitation following heart attacks and heart surgery at Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan.
- Comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical services including coronary bypass surgery, heart valve repair and replacement.
- Inpatient and outpatient diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders (arrhythmias), including a variety of diagnostic testing procedures, ablation of arrhythmias using cutting-edge techniques, pacemakers, and implantable cardiac defibrillators (ICDs); special pacemakers also are available to treat heart failure.
- Comprehensive vascular diagnostic services performed by a certified vascular diagnostic laboratory at Harper University Hospital.
- Comprehensive vascular surgical services, including angioplasty and surgical approaches to treating vascular disease.
