What you should know

You should call (248) 937-3482 the evening before your surgery between 2-5 p.m. to verify your arrival time. If your surgery is on Monday, you should call on Friday evening. If your surgery is the day after a holiday, call the last working day prior to the holiday. Once your physician has scheduled you for surgery, a registered nurse will call to review your medical history.

The phone interview will assess whether you need preadmission testing before your surgery and also provides us with the information we need to administer a safe anesthesia for you.

We will need a list of medications you are currently taking, their doses, any health concerns you have and any other information you feel we should know.

The anesthesiologist will review this information and you will be contacted if any tests are needed before your surgery.
